Maharashtra State Electricity Distribution Company and Energy Efficiency Services Ltd (EESL) commissioned 8 MW solar-agro project at Devdaithan, Maharashtra. This is a part of larger initiative to transform DISCOM’s agriculture – power supplying feeders to solar powered feeders which will reduce 11,500 tonnes of CO2e saving 2.2 crore for DISCOM annually. South African buildings must declare their energy usage

All Non-residential buildings >2000 sqm and Govt Buildings > 1000 sqm must declare their energy performance per sqm/ year. Israel launches national energy efficiency plan for a decade

The national energy efficiency plan 2020-30 is expected to reduce 7.5% of greenhouse gas emissions per year equivalent to 6 million tonnes. The plan promotes the adoption of renewable energy and utilization of technologies that consume less fossil fuels. Electric mobility will be preferred and sale of polluting vehicles shall be banned.
