The significant commitments made at COP21 present India and other nations with an unprecedented opportunity to work together to curb emissions and combat global climate change. In response to this ripe opportunity, the Institute for Sustainable Communities (ISC) in partnership with the U.S Department of State and India’s Centre for Environment and Development (CED), is organizing a distinguished conference, “The Future is Now: India – From COP21 to Reality,” which will take place on June 24-25, 2016 in Hyderabad.
The conference will bring together experts and practitioners from the U.S. and India to discuss key climate change issues facing India in light of the COP21 Agreement, as well as to share ideas and best practices in order to support India’s climate commitments described in its INDC.
